Aryna Sabalenka
Sabalenka was born in Minsk, the capital of Belarus. Sergey was a hockey player. Aryna Sabalenka was birthed in Minsk on May 5, 1998. Her career has seen her won twelve WTA singles titles, including an Australian Open Grand Slam at the 2023 Australian Open. Doubles is an additional area in which she excels. In the US Open 2019, and Australian Open 2021, US Open 2019, and Australian Open 2021 were both taken by Elise Mertens. She won both in the WTA 1000 and Miami Open in Indian Wells with her Belgian partner, completing her Sunshine Double. This feat was only achieved by four couples from women's doubles to accomplish it. The Belarusian rose from second place to third on the World Singles Rankings on the 23rd of August in 2021. The highest ranking she achieved was achieved again in January 2023. But in doubles, she climbed to the number one spot after her victory in Melbourne that following year. Dmitry Tursunov was her coach in 2018 until her season came to an end in the year 2019. He also coached her for a short time at the start of 2020. The pair also briefly worked with Dieter Kindlmann in August until September 2020. As of the year 2020's end, she's been coaching by her countryman Antonio Dubrov. Serena Williams is her role model, then Maria Sharapova.
